Descripción

This work aims at being a supplementary resource for teachers to develop reading strategies of students in public schools. It also seeks to promote these traditional stories from Chiloe island as a way to preserve our cultural identity.
For each legend in this book, the students will find some activities to do before actually reading the text. These pre-reading activities activate or provide the necessary background knowledge to face the text and understand it better. Likewise, there are some activities in which students must work on the ideas and vocabulary of the legends, either by finding information in it or developing the ideas and vocabulary in the text.
Teachers and students can find these legends, their audio recordings and activities on the website: mythsandlegendsfromchiloe.tk. This gives them the possibility to access the printable version of these pages anywhere and at any moment. (Para 8º básico y 1º medio)

El archivo "para imprimir" sirve para hacer una impresión del librito en hojas tamaño oficio por ambos lados y que quede compaginado de forma que al poner unos corchetes al medio y doblarlo aparezca como el librito original.
